I confess, I do. I’ve done it many many times. While my husband’s jeans are a tad too big to be called “boyfriend jeans”, his button down shirts (in white and denim) are the ones I love using. Now it looks like I’ll be adding one more item to the list of stuff I borrow from him – sweaters. This idea came up after seeing Hallie of Hallie Daily wear a men’s J.Crew sweater with a cute and short girly skirt and patterned pointy boots. Check her out below:

I’ll definitely be taking a cue from this style of hers. And that sweater is truly gorgeous, yes? Who’d have thought she got that from the men’s department!? I love the bits of red on the pattern. Anne wore a multi-tonal sweater over some skinny jeans and capped it off with Converse kicks. How do you like it? The cut is very classic – crew neck, longsleeves, and ribbed cuffs and hem, can you appreciate?

It’s somewhat Nordic inspired mixed with a little bit of Idaho flavor, but it’s actually more Old West in design. Marant drew inspiration from the cowboy state and used heavy knit to create her line of sweaters for the season. The “Lottie” is made of soft brushed alpaca blend and comes in a slightly slouchy silhouette that makes it ideal for topping over any fall outfit. The neutral pattern also makes it very wearable and less of a traditional knit only meant to be worn during the holidays.
