Would You Spend US$2000++ for This Brunello Cucinelli Sweater?

Here’s a new sweater from Brunello Cucinelli I chanced upon while going through the knits at Neiman Marcus. I have to be honest with you, I never thought this one would cost sooo much. This fresh Intarsia knit from the Italian designer retails at a whopping US$2135!!! I seriously wonder if anyone would actually buy it. Check it out below:

Brunello Cucinelli Feather Trim Intarsia Sweater, USD2135

Do you like it?

It’s pretty much your typical Nordic inspired ribbed pullover fashioned with a multicolored pattern on the shoulders. However, it does offer just a little bit of something else with its fur trimmed cuffs, which by the way, are detachable.

But besides the fact that this cashmere sweater is a Cucinelli and that it is Italian made, do you seriously think it’s worth all of US$2135?

For those of you with ultra expensive taste, feel free to pre-order this Fall 2012 creation at Neiman Marcus.
